Matt Gopin has been a district resident for almost 5 Years. Matt is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has spent the past 20+ years working in Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance either as a consultant or as a corporate leader. He currently is the President of SecurGRC, a consulting firm that specializes in Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance. Matt and his wife, Lindsay founded Rootz, a fine arts school for children in Northbrook, in 2017 where he is currently the CEO. They have also founded a non-profit, Chance to Shine, which provides opportunities for underprivileged children to participate in the fine arts. Additionally, Matt is the President of Bannockburn District 106 School Board and President of Tarns of the Moor Homeowners Association. Matt and Lindsay have four children and enjoys spending time with his children, traveling, exercise, and spending time outdoors.
